Hi Anna,

How courageous to tell your story, but how inspirational. Girl, we have all been there. I grew up in much the same way. Feeling a bit chubby in high school, but when I look back on it, I wasn't really chubby at all. I married in a size 10. I had a really unique experience when I had my child. I gained 43 pounds, but lost 31 at delivery and the next 12 within a few days. I nursed for 10 months and couldn't keep weight on. I got so thin. However, when I returned to my "normal" weight, I thought that was fat and that was when I started the diet roller coaster. BAD MOVE. The only diet that ever worked for me was Weight Watchers. Unfortunately, it's been off and on for many years and today 7/13 I recommitted again.

Good Luck,

Kathleen

You give me hope. You look beautiful. I will be 61 next month and have gained and lost more weight than I can count. I was 212.5 (my highest ever)on December 1st of 2008. Eight weeks later I was 188.5 (a loss of 24 lbs). I am on another diet now and hope to get to my goal weight soon. I started this one on April 20 at 200.8 and am 172.4 (a loss of 28.4 lbs). I am 5'8" and would like to get to below 150. I haven't been there since the 1960's. I feel burned out on dieting. I just want to eat something that I enjoy other than popcorn. I feel my meals are hourdourves (probably spelled wrong. Wish me luck and good luck to you. Any hints to keep going when I get burned out would be appreciated.
