Hello, Kyle! On a re-read of my own entry, I seem to harp a little much on whether a given tip was really "unconventional" and I hope you'll forgive me if I ever came of sounding at all tacky. It was 2am and I really should have been in bed.

Glad to hear you really do consider this a life style change and I look forward to reading your follow up article!

Congratulations on the weight loss! And thank you for sharing your tips!

Hi Anna,

Thank you very much for the post about my article. I really love your honesty about the cycles of weight loss you've gone through. I also love that you maintain this Web site. I regret that when I lost my weight I didn't track exactly what food I ate. I would have loved to publish it (similar to what you have here at On My Weigh).

I wanted to make one point that I whole heartily agree with you on and that is that eating healthy is a lifestyle. In my article I do allude to the notion that a diet ends. This is not what I wanted to do. Although my diet is "over" I have made major changes in my eating habits and lifestyle. I made the joke on January 4th (one year since I started my diet) that I have been on a diet for 365 days. The diet never ends for me -- its just not so intense.

I will be writing more about this in a follow up article that I will post on Lifehack.org a week from this Wednesday. My new lifestyle includes dieting Monday through Thursday.

Thanks again for the post and good luck in your dieting. Stay motivated and keep writing!
